ASEAN region has reported a total of 14,611,651 Covid-19 cases

INTERNATIONAL: On 21 December 2021 the ASEAN region has reported a total of 14,611,651 Covid-19 cases, this includes 300,581 deaths. The data was released by Worldometer, a website that is compiling Covid-19 statistics from around the globe.

At 10:00 a.m this morning, total cases and deaths per ASEAN member state are:
- Indonesia: 4,260,677 people (144,013 deaths)
- Philippines: 2,837,730 people (50,784 deaths)
- Malaysia: 2,721,544 people (31,135 deaths)
- Thailand: 2,196,529 people (21,440 deaths)
- Vietnam: 1,555,455 people (29,791 deaths)
- Myanmar: 528,380 people (19,226 deaths)
- Singapore: 276,105 people (815 deaths)
- Cambodia: 120,423 people (3,005 deaths)
- Laos: 99,396 people (274 deaths)
- Brunei: 15,412 people (98 deaths)
